Imagination Celebration

Each Spring, Arts Orange County presents Imagination Celebration: the annual, county-wide family arts festival! Presented in partnership with the Orange County Department of Education, Imagination Celebration dynamically connects the community, arts organizations, universities, and Orange County students through meaningful arts experiences. Most events are free!

April 11 - May 24, 2015



For Organizations, Schools, Cities, and Libraries

- Each year, approximately 40-50 organizations, schools, cities, and libraries present Imagination Celebration events. The result is a county-wide community arts festival.. the Imagination Celebration!

- Interested in producing an event for the festival? READ THE PARTICIPATION GUIDELINES and be sure to APPLY TO PARTICIPATE before January 30, 2015.

Imagination Celebration Visual Art Exhibits

- Art teachers from both public and private schools in Orange County are encouraged to submit their student's artwork into Imagination Celebration visual art exhibits for display throughout the County.

- Interested teachers should download the exhibit guidelines and download the appropriate label.

Imagination Celebration Poster Contest

- Orange County students in grades 7 - 12 have the opportunity to create the official poster for the Imagination Celebration.

- The winning poster will be reproduced on posters, ads, and flyers relating to the festival.

- The top thirty outstanding entries will be publicly exhibited during the festival at a selected art gallery.

- The top three entries receive an honorarium as part of the recognition of their creativity.

- DOWNLOAD INFORMATION! The deadline to submit is December 10.
